L.A. Williams was born in North Philadelphia and lost his sight at the age of three after multiple surgeries for glaucoma. While that circumstance could have defined the trajectory of his life, it didn’t.

L.A. graduated from Full Sail University’s Recording Arts program, becoming the first blind graduate of the program. He later achieved another historic milestone as the first totally blind Certified Pro Tools Operator in the world.
